Green Tiger Barb

Hi there

I have 3 Tiger barbs in my tank and I am finding that they are pointing nose down a lot. They are very lively and seem to be ok, but when at rest they display this behavour. Any ideas?

perfectly normal in my experience.. just before, and during lights out, all my barbs do this. Their way of sleeping i guess.

hi
as long as your tank parameters are ok ( ammonia,nitrite etc) this is the normal 'sleeping' resting position for tbs.
i only ask about your tank cos high nitrite can also make tbs go in the nose down position, but all our tigers sleep this way.
