Hmphh! I still want some and can't find any anywhere. It'll cost me a fortune to get them from the place you got em and have them delivered. Hurry up and breed them already

it may be a while as they are still young at the minute.... but ill bare you in mind if/when they do spawn

they are not seen very often at lfs, some have tried ordering me some but couldnt get them so private breeders are the best bet if you can find any......

I asked for the green, golds or red stripes in all LFS down this way and non would order in or couldnt. My golds were through private breeder. Best of luck breeding them mattlee!

They're a nightmare to source, most in the country are wild caught I think. I know of someone who's managed to breed them and he said as far as he knows he's the only person in the country who's managed to so far. So quite rare. They have stock in Maidenhead Aquatics Crowland according to a site listing stock and they have them at Sweet Knowle but they're about £17 each I think, plus postage if you don't live near. Oh and I found a wholesaler that has them on their list but don't know how easy it would be to order from them.

The golds are far easier to find and cheaper too. And the reds are available from Rare Aquatics.

Interesting development, I spoke to a shop today who deal direct with a lot of people in various countries who actually catch the fish. They're not managing to catch the greens at all at the moment in the place where they normally can. So it looks like they're even more rare now.

my only witnesses are my breeding angels who are busy chasing their fry about the tank and my gold stripes who obviously got jealous as they have spawned today about 70 eggs..... the greens wrote it in the sand with their fins but its now been disturbed and gone maybe they were fibbing.....

found 1 green stripe dead this morning but i dont think it was too well anyway to be honest it has been hiding behind the filter alot, did an 80% water change and the other 5 seem ok for now
