Green stringy algae type growth

Hi all,

I am having this stringy stuff growing around my tank and it’s annoying. Is this something I should be concerned about and how do I kill it?

I am not really sure but I would recommend doing a water change and reducing the amount of lights to help prevent more algae growth. There is an article about algae growth in one of the forums which would be worth checking out if you haven’t already.

Hello looks like thread/hair algae to me. Amano shrimps will eat it, or at least they did mine...
