Green Frothy Water

Help please!

My 30ltr biorb has very green foamy water.. I keep doing water changes and tests (which are fine), but it's still the same, what an I doing wrong??

I have 4 corys, 4 snails and some cherry shrimp in there, they all seem fine.

How long are you having the light on for? Excess light can cause algae.

it's on at night for about 6 hours..

If it's getting any direct sunlight that could be your problem. I'd do a 90% water change (take out enough water so the fish can just swim upright) and of course replace with temp-matched dechlorinated water.

no the light is on for 6 hours, off the rest of the time, not in direct sunlight either...

Oh, sorry I thought you said that the light was on for 6 hours at night hence the 18 hours
