I have a heavily planted 30L.
Its filtered well with two filters, has 7 hours of light a day (8W) and not ferts.
All the plants are doing very well and growing.

But there are damned green dots all over the glass, only noticeable when close. But they seem hard to scrub off (not that i have made a real effort yet). What are they and how do i get rid of them?

Please please please help me!! :shout:

If they're anything like the ones I get on my tank, it's just some form of Algae, they should come off easily with a little effort, make sure you use something aquarium-specific to clean them off with. I think I used a toothbrush.

I may be wrong, so anyone feel free to correct me.

Yep its just algae,

It is most likely green spot algae, its hard to remove a stanly knife blade does the trick just be careful not to scratch the glass. For those using ferts it can be a result of low phosphates.
