You won't notice it as neons are very low waste producers.
it will take ages for your sponges to get mucked up with neons.

I would put the fluval 2 sponges in to the fluval three for now.
Remove the fluval 2 filter for now.
It will takes ages if you have both filter's running.
Once you have a mature tank you could then add the fluval 2 back, and swap a sponge from the fluval 3.
The fluval 3 will cycle faster as it should pull more water throw it.

they are diffrent sizes or do u mean put the pads in the middle of the course pads

You could put the filter sponges from the fluval 2 into the fluval 3, where the black carbon and white filter pads go.
I would remove the fluval 2 filter for now.
Or just put the fluval 2 sponges into the fluval 3, and remove the fluval 3 sponges.

Once the tanks cycled for a while you can eventually put the fluval 3 sponges back in, seeding them with the fluval 2 sponges.

ive done what u said this morning put the +2 pads in the +3 and the new pads what where in the +3 which have only been in a day have allready started to mature cool
