Anyone have any pics of Greek or Roman Theme tanks??? I going to buy decor 2morrow wanted to get some ideas

MERRY CHRISTMAS !! =0)

Just a thought, aren't greek and roman basically the same decorations, I mean I don't think you could really tell them apart too much. Are you asking about pillars and ruined buildings type of tank. If you look through the pages here you might find a few, I'v seen them. Sorry can't help you I don't have that type of tank.

atm

ahhhh! Finally, my course over that pays off :hyper:

The greeks have far less structure for building, as the romans began using cement, which was unavailable to the greeks.

So here we get arches and domes and so forth, with other cool things, while the greeks were pretty much limited to 3 types of coloums. (EX: corinthian)

so with the Romans you gain more and more advancements in your opening to buildings, which could be the back design to a tank...

where as with greeks you'll mostly see pillars and coloums.

Romans also get to have the Colleseum, which is also a fun fish theme.

Yea u guys got the right idea's id just like to see some examples..

Im going to the pet store 2morrow spending about 200 on fish and decor
ill give u guys pics  =0)

Better be a huge tank with those fish in it!

Barbs-Tetra's-gorm-bala sharks-white tipped shark-clown loaches

i always find its nice to expalin atleast when criticising someone guys. :)

what there trying to say is the balas grow to around 14" and should be in a group of 4+ so need alot of space, think upwards of 180 gallons.

the clowns again should be in a group abd grow to atleast 8" but you do have time with these because they take a good few years to get that size.

if this

http://www.aquariumfish.net/catalog_pages/...k_white_tip.htm

is the white tipped shark then the tank size is ok but that link says there brackish which means he could probably do with rehoming asap.

the barbs tetras and gouramis should be fine and youve probably got room for some dwarf cichids or something to replace the fish you rehome.

Well here's the pics =0)

Still not done yet need alittle more work with plants on the top and bubbles in the statues.
