greedy columbian cat sharks

whats the best feed for columbian cat sharks?
at the moment i only have flakes, and the cats gobble almost all of it!
they go crazy at feeding time and eat soo much!

i feed them once a day.

are bottom feeder pellets a good idea?

What size tank do you have and what do you have in with them. Thoses fish are monsters that will grow up to a few feet and eat any fish that fits into there mouth. I feed mine flakes, krill, cichlid pellets, betta pellets, feeder goldfish, feeder guppies, and any other food that they sell at my lfs. They will eat anything and everything.

They should eat practically anything you put in the tank, including smaller tankmates! I use JMC brand catfish pellets for all my catfish and have yet to find one that doesnt go nuts for them.

Are you aware of the specialist care that columbian shark catfish need? As they grow they will need increasing ammounts of salt added to their water until eventually reaching full marine conditions.
