The best bit is it only needed one bag of sand so cost a whopping £2.68 for the entire tank!

yeah thats why i went for it originally....

but looks got the better of me and i paid a little bit more from my LFS but was worth it as much more natural looking now....

catfish love sand, and i love watching them burrow in it.

Big improvement, I recently bought Argos sand to Scape my small tank,
It's very good for the money, but I looked rather strange carrying it over my shoulder on the high street
I've still got 90% of it left in the bag, I'm tempted to put in my 35litre but don't know whether I should...

I looked a little odd carrying Playsand into a flat with no garden!

Once it has cleared (I think it has already but the lights dont come on till 10) I will get a picture from the same angle on my camera and post that.

I see that as a good thing, because at least you know its not deep in the gravel causing problems, will also work as an added incentive to do a water change, maybe im just odd

I think it was the slight cloudyness that made it look a little odd aswell.

Once I have my 55 gal all set up I'm going to be doing the same thing. Where did you put the fish when you switch it out? I have a 47 gal I got for free I was going to put them in that as I worked on the tank.
