Hi there,

Im new to this forum,

I Have had my 90ltr aquarium for around 9 months now and i have been asking myself did i make the right move to have gravel or should i have gone for sand?

I have 2 pictus catfish, 1 redtailed shark, 2 firemouth cichlids, 3 tigar barbs and 5 golden barbs,

The reason i ask is that i have noticed that the firemouths have been trying to dig and would sand make it easier for all the bottem feeders?

So should i go for sand in acouple of months or stay with gravel?

Many Thanks for any advice

Stu

sand is awesome (cory ftw) but i pain to vacuum

For the Cichlids I would probably stay with gravel. Just for the main reason being they will dig, blow and disrupt the sand which can make your tank look not so clear all the time.
