Gravel Change? :/

anyone no how to change the gravel in my tank without startin from scratch?

Remove most of the water into a large, clean, cooler or something of the sort. Place the fish in the cooler with a bubble stone running to keep oxygen going. You may need to put some kind of heating in there, something as simple as a light over it will help.

Then, clean out the tank and the rest of the water, remove the gravel, put in the new gravel. Get everything running, and place the fish back in. I did exactly this a couple weeks ago and everything went perfectly fine.

God Bless,

It's been a while, but I did it once by taking the end off of my gravel vac and just using the hose to suck out all of the gravel into a bucket. It wasn't the fastest thing by any stretch, but I was able to leave the fish in and it really didn't make much of a mess, since everything was sucked out.

hey i not long did this! i just got a big fish net and scooped them all up! left fish in there! all my fish are ok!
