Hi Everyone!
I have one gold gourami and one blue gourami. They were both in my 30 gallon tank but I moved them to my 10 gallon with 6 kuhli loaches because the convict I had in the 30 was bullying everyone. While in the 10 gallon, they both started hiding at the bottom of the tank. More so the gold one, but the blue one follows! They had nothing to be afraid of.
So now that the convicts gone, their back in the 30 and continue to hid at the bottom. Its been like 2 weeks. I just changed the substrate and took out all of the "caves" that were in there and the gold one just cowers behind the heater and the blue one follows. They act scared and I don't know how to reverse this behavior.
It's not the water, they were in there with three catfish, a rope fish and knife fish that are all doing well.
Are they afraid of getting caught and moved again? I don't know what happened.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
