I hadn't noticed someone had put hybrid. That is terribly misleading. In fact the gold are a very common colour morph of the TT's.
I pretty much think everything has been covered here for your best results. A larger tank for silver dollars or a rehoming and the gouramies you have seperated with one returned. Perhaps to make the 35g a gourami type tank and add females once the tank is ready and settled.
