Gourami Tank!

Angel fish have been known to nip at gouramis too. It's really not the best combination.

Tetra, I hope you'll let us know how it is working out with your gouramis and other fish. I wonder if your higher numbers of gouramis spread the aggression out? Also how many males and females are you keeping in the tank? Good luck with your new set up!

My opaline bullied the giants when they were in the 55g, and my gold bullied the corys when she was in the 20g. Now the gold chases the pearls in the 55g and once in awhile the opaline chases the gold. Nothing real serious, but I can't figure out why gouramis seem to pic one species or fish to bully. My giants are happy as can be now in the 20g with the corys and neons, no one bullies anyone in that tank. I call it my peaceful tank!

no, all of the gourami in my tank have lived together almost since birth so the number of gourami has actually decreased.
i know i have 2 female goldens and 1 male
2 male blues and 1 female
but im not sure about the pearls.
and my new albino corys are going fine.
one of the goldens nudged him this morning but thats all.
tempurature running at a steady 76.
