My sister has one dwarf gourami in her 125 litre at the moment with other community fish. She wanted to get a dawrf blue one to add to it but the guy in the lfs said "I dunno how it will get on with the one you already have" so she didn't get it. I thought you could have more than one? What's the right amount to have? Can she get another 2?

Two males is pushing it in a 125 litre - they will fight.

Even adding two females to the tank with him doesn't mean they'll get on, he could harrass these as well.

i have 3 Dwarf Gourami in my 125 and they are fine, 1 male 2 females. All i will say is make sure you have plenty of foliage so they can retreat if it gets too much.

Hi,if you want to keep more than 2 males ,you need 2 females for each male
..I had1 male and 2 females, but 1 female died ,the remaining male and female are fine but occasionally the male chases her,but when there were 2 females he still chased them ,good luck.
