I have 2 Gouramis, 1 male 1 female, they both dont do alot at all, they barely eat and either stay at the top of the water or right at the bottom... The rest of the fish in the tank havent got any problems so something doesnt seem right??

Can anyone help?

Looking again, the female seems to have cloudy eye, how can this be fixed?

turns out i just caught the anglefish attacking her, the anglefish has temp been removed and i will add her back later to see if she stops, if not, back to the lfs for her

I am no expert but dwarf gouami are timid fish so maybe things will improve now the agressive angel is gone.I always worry that my pearl gouramis are not getting enough to eat with the faster fish in the tank so always stick my hand halway in to release food near them.
Generally gouramis like tanks which are well planted and mine tend to hang about under my floating plants and dont really move about an awful lot
Sorry I cant be of more help.Maybe someone with a bit more expertise will know if you have a problem or not

Well the female gourami died after the attack, but now the male seems alot better. The Anglefish will be returning to the lfs any minute and hopefully they will let me swap it for another female gourami!

thanks for your help weaver!

Awww how sad. I had a sp.gouramie in with two angels and they're fine together. But it is a big tank so they don't cross paths all the time.
:byebye: RIP lil girl.
Hugs,
P.
