ok, so my paradise gourami is usually a very peaceful fish, he’s very curious and doesn’t bother the other fish, however, I got a few cory catfish yesterday and I woke up this morning to one missing most of his wiskers and missing an eye, and he was swimming in the middle collum of the tank and not at the bottom. he did go to the bottom and ate a little bit and is swimming normal and all, and he actually is staying more on the bottom now, however he seems blind. my paradise gourami was the one who did this. he also grabbed another catfis by its wiskers but he got away with only a tiny cut near his wiskers, but it’s sad. the catfish seem to be fine aside from that however the issue is the gourami. he seems to be very curious of the new fish and is not trying to eat them or being territorial, but how do I stop this? I can’t return him to any pet store and I can’t set up a new tank either. the catfish right now are soooo all that they are easily hurt. they are only around a half inch long. the gourami never messes with any of the other fish. right now the gourami is in a bucket, but I’d not want him to get too stressed, so any suggestions on how to some how get rid of his agression?
