Hey everyone :)

Got rid of the bronze cory fry today after raising them for 8months.

They were big enough to go and although i didn't want them to go just yet today my tank started leaking and i was left with no choice but to send them to the LFS and hope they end up in good homes

I wish i had of taken more pics but it was a good experiece and i would reccomend anyone with enough dedication to cories to give breeding a go, it's good fun but don't expect to make any mula out of it

Although the LFS did give me £25 i reckon it cost around £100 to raise them for the 8months. I highly reccomend using frozen BBS to people who were considering it, i used it from 5days old and had good results although i suffered a few losses i think i managed to keep 90% rate alive which was good for my first ever attempt at breeding :)

Thanks for listening and for all your help in raising them :)
Dan

It's always hard to let your fry go. We took our bronze fry to our LFS on Monday, as well as our adult breeding group of 5. It did feel quite sad, only got some really tiny bronze fry now, about a week old. We did come home with some other fish, including a baby BN, so at least we didn't come home empty handed.

Good luck, are you going to breed them again? :D

Yea i do wonder whos homes they'll end up in hopefully a responsible keeper but you never know :dunno:

I got rid of the bredding trio a few months back as my mum wouldn't of allowed the salty tank, a tropical and a fry tank so i took them back to the LFS. Felt a bit guilty as they were the first fish i got to breed but oh well :/

Well i guess i got the £25 credit note so i can use if for my nano, perhaps a coral or something :D

Goodluck with your new batch :good:
