Got My New Betta!

Bettas are great when they're curious. Sounds like he has an awesome personality as well as good looks.

I'm still trying to work out what situation could possibly lead to the hobo pic...

He's holding a sign saying Pichers, Pichers were needed lol

But why would you randomly go out and do this? I'm puzzled by what they're wearing. And why they're standing outside a McDonalds. Oh dear I do tend to analyze too much.

Oh he is a pretty boy. I'm loving the streaks of blue. My betta is always flaring when I haven't got the camera. Then the minute I have it, he goes off acting all innocent.

Lol I love your big fat betta. He looks nice and chunky, unlike his big fat McDonald's fan club. They really need to eat some fries before they judge.

Haha, thanks. He arady lovesbrine shrimp and refuses to eat the special pellets i got him. When im eady to take a pic, he takes of and hides behind a rock. He is a weird betta, lots of red, with blue on him. He is a Crowntail Halfmoon Doubletail.

Also it's normal for them to not eat much for the first week or so that you get him, but can usually be tempted by fresh/frozen foods - however - I recommend you just keep trying to feed him your usual flakes/pellets as normal to prevent him getting too fussy.

The reason i say crowntail os because his fins are pointed like a crowntail when flared. It looks like the breeder bred a crowntail with a halfmoon doubletail. Halfmoon doubletail took over leaving a slight amount of crowntail. Trust me, ita there. Thanks for the advice, i will try the little porker on pellets again today.

The extended rays on the dorsal are normal, my HM had them.

He is. I'm not keen on solid coloured betta's myself but I agree he's really nice

If you look closely he does have some blue streaks on him near the tail.

I know it's more the fact that he's mainly red with a bit of blue.. You'll see if you look at mine that I prefer a mixture of colours lol
