I'm day one in to my cycle. Gonna be long and slow for me by the sounds of it zzzz oh well. Fishes in my tank by the summer

I have had a lot of support from people in this forum, and it really is worth the wait (even though sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out)knowing the fish will be having a safe, healthy enviroment to live at the end of it.

I have made a few mistakes, I fell for the LFS confidence additives to boast the filter (stay clear away, a waste of your dosh) I even had a guy from Maidenhead aquatics convince me it will only take a week to cycle my tank using this "new" stuff that contains real live Nitrifying bacteria...............it did, but the wrong sort, which in the end would compete with any real nitrifying bacteria for the ammonia source and cause huge spikes leaving me no chice but to buy more to solve the problem, costing money worry and time...

Best stick to being patient!
