Got Kicked Off The Site Last Night.

I was doing my thing and following posts an the daily maintnance came on so I was like ok. Ill come back in 10 minutes. It took me 3 hours to get back on! I gave up when I got on because it wasnt worth it.  Did anyone else have this problem? Did this actually happen or was it a bug?

I was offline for quite a while during the evening, and didn't get back on until like after 1AM lol (insomnia)... so I didn't notice anything, but maybe they were doing maintenance?

LOL That's what I get for skimming a post while trying to eat delicious curry! haha, missed that first part entirely!... however, the curry has been devoured now, so you have my undivided attention. >_>

I tried that. Its on my Kindle, and it isnt working. Oh well. Still have a computer

I'm not aware that the site was down last night. We do seem to have acquired a glitch where a lot of people have managed to save the maintenance page as a cache. The above posters are correct, clearing the cache should get rid of that.

Yup, happened to me recently also, cleared the cache (well, hubby did) and it was business as usual. After about a week it did it again, still can't click on the forum's main page without getting the maintenance page. To get to the different forums I have to click on "view new content" and find the forums through other people's threads, lol!
 
My son will do some maintenance on my computer soon, hopefully that will fix whatever is causing this for me!
