Got home today to another spawn of zebra plecos

It's the 5th spawn in around 3 months starting to run out of space...

It's just starting to be a bit too many to be honest...
with this spawn I'll be at over 30 fry in a 20gal

as much as they are worth, might be worth setting up another tank, and starting a small business...

I had heard that mature pairs could have as many as a 100 at a time... is this a younger couple, or are your numbers typical for this species???

it's a trio...1 female spawns about 4-5 eggs each time the other around 12
as for spawning 100 at once...not zebra plecos..I've heard of people that spawned 20ish
my max was 17 at once
what's unusual is the spawning while fry are still inside...

What is it with these fish ? They seem to breed like guppies if you set them up right .
