Got Eggs Need Help

i ordered some nothobranchius eggersi blue eggs on ebay with instructions put them into water yesterday and nothing happened drained and dried the peat ready to start over any help would be appreciated

This seems to be the trend of late....Thai/Far East Killifish egg farms.
You have picked rather a small species, by small I mean from the size of the fry aspect. The fry are very small and will need Paramiecium or Infusorians as first food. So make sure you have these ready.

also on the container it says validity date 2 april 11 is that the date they should be ready to hatch? or .... i dont know lol thanks

Yeah that will be the hatching date.
But this is temperature dependant and can, by it's very nature be shorter or longer.
Please follow the instructions on the other relevant thread, the ideology is similar.
