got a scat

hi

i got a little silver scat and wen i put him in my tank he was fine......then 20 mins later he died

does anyone have any reasons to why he died???

Is your tank brackish (half FW half SW)? Scats are brackish/marine fish that need salt in their water to survive, as they grow their salt requirements grow too until they eventually enter full marine conditions. Scats should NEVER be kept in FW conditions.
