Hello,

For a start its:

W=71 INCH
H=24 INCH
D=18 INCH

So thats:

Litres=510
Imp. Gallons=112
US Gallons=135
Kilos of Rock Needed=56

So i want to move my 155 litre marine tank into the 510 litre tank... but i dont know how to do it. Also, can someone tell me how much 56 KG of rock would cost you from where you buy yours from.

Plus can you upload or tell me some links so i can think of how i want it all to be set out please.

I dont know if i can put a sump in this tank as i need to drill the holes in the tank and the cabnet, im not 100% sure if i could fit a tank under it really (power everywhere)

I will upload pictures as soon as my camera has batteries (saturday)

Many Thanks Eigdoog :good:

hi,

Im sure u can find somoene around who can drill you tank easy.. its worth it... if you deside that u just wont risk drilling ur tank you can always go with a overflow.. CPR makes some nice ones!

If it's really just rock and inverts in the old tank, it's not that big a deal making the switch. Will the new tank be placed where the old one is, or in a different physical location?

I will be moving the fish and corals from say one room to another and adding the old water (i hope).

How do i go around a overflow? can a sump work from this?

What? do you mean how do I not use one? or how does the overflow work? or none of the above?

well i mean can i use a over flow without cutting holes in my tank so that i can have a sump. i dont really know how a sump works in terms of how fast should the water go from one to another and if it was a over flow just how can i do it :blush:

Actually, CPR makes some pretty bad ones....
