Not sure to be honest, it is way over what somewhere like Pier aquatics would sell it for.

Quite surprised it is even offered for sale in UK, pieces like this normally end up in either Japan or Singapore

Yeah, it seems A LOT! The one I seen that was 6" inches was £70!

Cheers, hopefully his colour doesn't fade too much. He's nice and healthy though, already at home after only 2 days.

His colouration won't change for literally years other than the window growing out of his tail.

Definetely an L191 pleco, i've got 1 aswell, they're lovely plecos and my favourite

£70 for a 6 inch one is ridiculous you can get them for about £40 for that much Pier do huuge 15 inch size ones for about £140 but they are excellent quality plecs

Enjoy it they are a great fish

Cheers, yeah funny you say that, he seems to be pooing everytime I look at him lol. Gonna have to improve on the Fluval 305 I think!

I've not heard of Pier Aquatics before! I'll have a look...

The tank is a 260 litre Fluval Vicenza.
