Got A New Fighter - What Do You Think?

Just got him...don't know what to call him yet...
Just finished setting up his new tank - 20L (approx 5.1 US Gal), going to plant and decorate it.

Any feedback appreciated...

Very beautiful fish you have there. Did you get him from a petstore? Those type of colorations are rare in a petstore.

got him from a fish and garden centre called Swallow Aquatics...cost me £3.95...that's about $7-8...which may seem alot but its really quite cheap from a fish store

yeah but in England we pay an average of $10-20 in LFS for bettas....majorly over priced.
btw...does anyone know what tail type he is...i'm pretty sure he's a veiltail

Yeah, definatly a VT. I'd try to see if you can breed that coloring into a CT line, if I had him.

can't wait til I get a new job, very intent on starting to let my betta bug spread from having only one, to having.....probably too many
thinking of even trying to sway my other half a bit more by getting him one, and seeing as I found transhipping from aquabid's not actually that expensive, maybe I'll get some quality show types in
though I'm adamant somebody needs to give the VT a good name again by breeding up beautiful colours like your boy!

Really pretty fella! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE bettas w/ that color combo. The red splotches on the white body/fins...

Wow he really is a nice fish I love veiltails myself, I have two Achillies and Nike. The best bit about getting a new fish is thinking of a great name. He looks like a 'Caesar' if you ask me.
