Been having a play with the new toy (Canon EOS 50D), still learning how to use it properly but quite pleased with some of these....

Are these nerite eggs??? They've been appearing all over the wood

cleaned the glass after this one!

Lovely tank, and yes they are nerite eggs, but they won't hatch so you might as well leave them there as food, or remove them yourself.

I've only got one nerite but it's going egg laying mad at the moment. Counted at least 20 last night.

great cameras the canon eos range . with a little bit of tinkering you can get amazing shots. love that piece of wood youve got . is it real?

the 'root' in the middle? Yes it's real. Think it's mopani wood.

Definitely nerite eggs, my tanks are both covered in them, - they wont get eaten, they are solid as hell
good choice of camera too, the 50D kicks "bottom" (the forum wont let me say that particular word lol)

it's the EF-S 60mm macro. No idea how to use the whole thing fully yet......will enjoy learning though.

ah cool, good choice yeah macros take a little getting used to but are very rewarding when you get the hang of them
