St. Louis is a crappy town. Terribly bitter cold winters and ridiculous, oppressively hot summers. It has been hitting at least 95F (35C) every day for the last week with 70%+ humidity. You can't even go get the mail without sweating. The groundwater is so hot that I have to ice down the water I'm putting in my tank during changes as my tank temp is up to 78F.

Today and tomorrow is supposed to hit 100F (almost 38C), and the high each day for the next 10 days is supposed to be at least 90F (32.2C) with no rain.

Anyone else suffering through this? I walked into work today at 930AM and it was already 93F and 70% humidity. Ughhhhhhhh

Quite the opposite in the UK.......

even up here in Wisconsin its miserable. Been hitting the 90's for the last 4-5 days  . Along with around 80% humidity everyday. If you think St. Louis has bad winters don't come up here. This year I have seen temps from the -20's to the high 90's. At least the cold is easier to deal with then the heat.

My wife's family is spitting distance from Kenosha, granted that is south, but I was up there over Christmas and it snowed 12" in like 4 hours. They're right on Lake Michigan so the lake effect snow is terrible!

Today, high here is 102F, 85% humidity. You pretty much need scuba gear to breathe as it feels like you're under water. . .

I know the UK is notorious for bad weather but not in July! Please send us some of your nice weather!

Errrrrrm, dunno where you get that idea from. We get bad weather all year round. Gulf stream, innit. In fairness, the Gulf Stream keeps us relatively warm in winter, for our latitude, but that just means we get lots of rain instead of lots of snow. Except last winter. In the summer, it keeps us relatively cool, for our latitude, but that just means we get lots of rain instead of lots of sun.
