so i tried my first name and that didnt really bring anything interesting up either
so i googled my surname and i found this
always knew i was important somehow lol
I was born and lived in Herefordshire for 25 years.
so turns out if my ancestors had played their cards right i could have ended up owning the place lol.
Its about 20 miles from the Welsh Border, hence the welshness lol
just incase you can;t read it it says:
GRIFFITHS
Griphuid is the old welsh form of this name "iud" meaning chief. We also note in 1392 Gruffud ap Madog Vynon.
Although there are many families with this name the armorial bearings illustrated represents one only. one very ancient family Griffiths derive from one of the most distinguished lines of Cambrian geneology.
Deducing descent from no less a person that Tudor Trevor, Lord of Hereford, Bromfield, Chirk both the Maelors and Oswestry.
