The tank is 82x39x40cm. The light is actually pretty good but doesn't have great reach, especially in the back of the tank, it will be low flow and I'm using tropica soil but no co2.
For stocking I'm considering: 1 honey gourami, 12-15 schooling fish (haven't decided which), 6 ottos or a bristlenose. I may add 2 mollies if I think the HG is too small to be a centerpiece and if I do that I wont be keeping ottos or some schools that like really soft water.
Or: 6-8 congo tetras (the tank might be too small and if you think so tell me), 6 ottos or a bristlenose.
Aiming for a pH of 7 and water hardness of 100-200ppm.
Preferably easy to maintain plants, less than 2 hours a week. I also don't want to spend 100s on the scape when the set up is already making me £400-500 lighter.
Thanks for any responses.
