Good Loners For A 55 Gal

Hey guys. I have a 55 gallon tank, with the fish listed in my sig. Its cool and all, but I really want to get some personalities. You know-non shoaling loner fish. What are some good ones I could add to this tank? I was looking at ropefish, loaches, bichir, sharks, plecs, etc. But Im really not sure if a lot of them are compatible.


BTW, this forum is a lot of help for people new to the aquarium world! Ive been lurking for a while- learned a lot! Thanks.

a red tailed shark would be good. possibly maybe even amale betta.

Angels, Rams, Kribs, Discus (Not sure about those would have to reasearch).

i wouldent go with a male betta it will probly fight and you may end up with dead fish

If you want to add the new fish to the current stock, I wouldnt go with reedfish or birchir, those will prey on your smaller fish.
