Good Killis For Communites?

Hi, does anyone know of any nice killies for communitys?

thanks

Hi, demonmagus! I think it may depend on the size of tank and tankmates. But, I purchased one male and 2 female Aphyosemium Striatum Killifish, and they have worked out beautifully in my 37 gallon tank. Tankmates include 4 Diamond Tetras and 3 Pearl Gourami. They haven't taken a nip at any of their tankmates (the tetras have taken a nip at them, though). The Striatum is a really lovely killifish. You might check it out.

The simple reply would be Aphyosemion australe which are quite easy to source. Aplochelius lineatus (golden panchax) are very common in aquarist shops these days but are predatory by nature and should not be included in the community aquaria with small fishes so please steer clear of these.

Epiplatys dageti and Aplocheilichthys normani (also known as lampeyes) are excellent community fish! The normani (lampeyes) are schooling fish and get along wonderfully with my Neons. In fact, they all act like they're the same species. I just got these types of Killis last Friday but I love every minute of them!
