Hey, guys. Just wondering if there are any good books out there that can help me identify all the cool stuff that came in on my live rock. Do you have any favorites that have a good list with pics of different corals, anemones, etc? Also, I need a book that has crustaceans in it with pics so that I can decide which ones I want to put in my tank. If there are websites that have good pics of either, that would be great, too. Thanks!

FYI - I already have: Marine Reef Aquarium Handbook (but it's not helping much)
The Tropical Marine Fish Survival Manual (again, not much help)
Marine Fish (doesn't have crusties or coral in there)

Simple Guide to Marine Aquariums (again, not much help with this particular stuff)
Conscientious Marine Aquarist (better, but still doesn't identify most of the things in my tank)

What I'm looking for is something that covers crusties and corals as well as Marine Fish covers the fish. Maybe just a pipe dream? I've got tons of stuff on my live rock and I want to make sure if I'm supposed to be feeding it certain things or certain ways, I do that. Thanks!

I've got one called "The Complete Book of the Marine Aquarium" that I happened to find at Petsmart (who strangely doesn't sell anything else related to marine aquariums.. *shrug*). It's got big sections on corals and inverts, and the part that amazed me... HUGE sections on identifying types of algae! Chances are if you're in the early stages of the aquarium.... that's what really needs identifying on those rocks ;)

Well, it looks like I found the perfect book, LOL, it's too bad it's not published yet!!! Looks like ronald shimek is up to it again with a new pocket expert. Apparently, he read my mind! "marine invertebrates" is supposed to be coming out Nov, 2004. Another waiting game!
