Good/bad Advice + Good/bad Service

I have had a few problems lately with a few pieces of equipment and have received some good advice and service.

Lead me to thinking ( if one doesn`t already exist) if it might be an idea to have a thread for members to let others know if they have had good or bad experiences with manufacturers,lfs etc.

Especially for people starting up the hobby to avoid bad advice,as happened to me or people that might want to upgrade etc.

Just a thought.

when i first started the hobby i got a lot of bad advise from lfs.
i find they tell you what you want to hear just to get a sale and we suffer in the long run.
my lfs pets at home are the worst!!! everyone there tells you different info on the same thing,they just havent got a clue.
forums like this tho are the best!!


when it comes to equipment i rely on reviews online of the product that way you get a clearer view on what the item is like from people who have used it themselves.

but you starting this thread is a good way of people explaining there experinces.
