I know I'm overdoing the pic thing a bit but I wanted to share thie Giant gourami from my lfs with you. He's awsome and is quite a charachter too. He loves having his pic taken as you can see.

He will get to about 30inches I believe. Pretty big for a gourami!

Looks Yummy....not to offend you or anything....but they eat this as one of their food staple in Indonesia...So pick one live one up in the market when you go to Indonesia...way cheaper
u could get one big live one for a quarter dollar probably...

my lfs has one named "Flossy" probably named that because he doesnt have teeth they rescued him and put him on display in his own big tank. and when ever you go to the tank he trys to bite you through the glass

"Hi. My name is George, I am a giant Gourami. I am a vegetarian and over 25 years old."

there is one of those at a pet shop near me. his name is Lurch and he is 15 years old (i think).
