Goldfish Problem

I recently got some goldfish for my spare 2ft tank that i emptied of tropical fish.

i took the heater out and lowered the temp to 19deg..

The problem im having is because of the hot weather, the temp in the tank is at 24.

Is this bad? im not use to goldfish and was whinged at to get them

goldfish are fine in warm or cold water but tropicals need warm water all the time. Therefore 24C is no worries for them. Just leave the tank unheated and the temperature will go up and down as the house temp does. the fish will be fine.

the warmer the weather the more oxygen you will need, so make sure you have plenty of surface agitation going on
