goldfish and betta?

That's way too many fish for a 10 gallon. I'd recommend either the 4 girls or 1 goldie (with the intent to upgrade in the future!). Not both.

Don't put goldies in a bowl  Goldfish need 10 gallons a piece and heavy filtration. Put the bettas in bowls

Don't put either in bowls and put the 2 goldfish in a 30 gallon coldwater tank!

its never good to keep cold water fish with tropical fish, i did it once and i had very few problems but the golfish really mucked up the water -_- and im pretty sure its unsafe to have anything other than corys and plecos in a female tank. in my female community iv got 4 females right now but ill probably go upto 5, ill definately need an upgrade here soon -_-

Goldfish grow pretty quickly, and its cruel to keep them in a small tank. The rule I've always been told is 20 gallons for the first goldfish, plus 10 additional gallons per extra fish after that. They're VERY messy fish (as far as eating and waste products) and they really need a lot of room. Definately don't move them to goldfish bowls, and if possible, get a bigger tank.

Even little tiny "feeder" goldfish can get very big -- 6 to 12".

You need 20 U.S. gallons for the first fish
and 10 U.S. gallons for each additional fish
This means that in order to keep 5 goldfish
in a tank you would require 60 U.S. gallons.

A goldfish will not grow to its enviroment.
Its' body may, however the internal organs will not.
This can lead to serious problems with deformaties and death.

Please read the pinned topic in the coldwater fish forum

Don't put bettas and goldfish together.........they are completely different fish with different requirements.
