golden frog

Anyone heared of these. I got one, put him in my new tank which has been maturing for the past 2 weeks. But i dont know anything about these. ie if they are compatable with fish I will intoduce. Any ideas???

He is a creamy gold colour with black eyes.

Hey pee,

I didn't want you to think your post was going unnoticed!! We may not have anyone here who knows anything about this species.

Give it a little more time though and see what happens.

By the way, would you happen to know the scientific name of your frog?? I did a quick search and came up with several different species of golden frogs!!

Cheers CM. I dont know the scientific name. They were only defined in the pet shop as Golden Frogs. That is all I know bout him and that he is a golden/bream colour with black eyes. He eats tropical flakes.

I have now found information on these. It is not actually a golden frog. It is an albino african clawed frog!!!! The bad news is he will have to go - he eats fish!!!! The pet shop told me he was compatable in a community tank - idiots!!
