Hy, have recently got 2, 2inch'ish Gold Saum's and have put them in 400ltr tank with 4 2 inch clown loaches and 2 4 inch clowns and a 7 inch black pebble cat and a 6 inch gold algie eater and 2 7 inch common plecs.

Im just wondering if they will be ok with clowns and the rest I supose, they seem to be quite happy as the bosses of the tank, I am aware I may have probs with the two of them when they get bigger if they dont get on but at moment everythings cool.

didnt know if they will get big quick and see the clowns as dinner ?

thanks ally... :good:

They will ultimately quickly outgrow the loaches as clowns are slow growing, however, Ive never heard of them bothering clowns or plecs, it would be mainly other cichlids that would be a problem with them or smaller fish they could fit in their mouths. I dont know what a pebble cat is so cant comment on that.

I would not be surprised if the saums do beat up on the others from time to time once they grow up a bit, if they don't beat up on each other.
