Gold Fish And Tropical Fish?

hello i was wondering if i could out two gold fish with my tropical tank? they are two small gold fish and the tropical fish are one pleco, 3 tetra, 1 molly and 1 platty.
thanks the tank is a 28 gallon bow tank and i have a aquaclear 50 on my tank.

i would think not, goldfish are coldwater and i dont think they would handle the heat of ypur tropical tank

It heightens their metabolism thus creating much more waste and significantly limiting their lifespan.

I suggest if you want cold water don't get goldfish, get minnows and the like. Minnows can actually just about live with sub-tropical species like corys (I think.)
