Going On Hols And Scared About Tank!

when im away for 10days and one person comes in on day5 feeds fish and tops up a bit then leaves my tank will this be ok with halides open top or do i need to spend money i dont have on auto feeder, auto top up? Its 2clowns and a puffer that reli need to be fed and the tank is a orca tl550 im seriously skint atm i need to just get by this hol then ill get cash i think hopefully pocket money. need job any one got ideas?

cling film stop evap??? with small hole dont have many corals. softies

Maybe put a small fan on a timer for day time. My tank has been heating up to 30c all week

Could do with being topped uo and fed more than that imo

Yes, but a tank that overheats and cooks your fish would be even worse...

My suggestion would be to reduce the photoperiod of the halide down to say 6 hours and beg/plead someone to topup a little more reguarly. Evaporation is more of a concern in this instance than feeding.

ok ill try who do u guys get in? the lfs charges £60!!!! and my nieghbours wont have a clue but i can get my grandad to put a measure of water in every 2-3days and feed fish and corals hopefully is this ok?
