Going A Different Direction :d

Mabye it wasn't you then  someone with a similar name  anyways man the link you gave doesn't exist... just say what it is in the link... spell it out letter b y letter

Might've lol... also cane you said you have a 15" clown knife... Pictures are worth a thousand words you know... :D

so you see 30"+ clown knives are not uncommon :good:
have a browse in the picture section and you will see :good:

And a picture of YOUR clown knife?!

Whatever... heres my new stocking for that tank!

1 Clown Knife (Dispite what you say cane he's still going in there...)
30 Tiger Barbs
1 Pleco (BN)
10 cory cats
and I might add in some Angles or blue rams... or even something else (unknown what else )

Any suggestions for a "centre piece" fish would be nice :D

Okay, the OP is obviously not listening about size, despite the top link on google for 'clown knife fishbase' giving a page with plenty of owners opinions saying they grow a good 10-15" in the first year and within a couple of years are looking at 2 feet.

I am sure it will fall on deaf ears but I thought I would take one quick try. Go to a forum that is for Keepers of Monster Fish and into their knifefish section. There are people there (with pics) of CK that have grown from 1.5" to 19" in a single year.

the clown mostly eats whole fish, earthworms and prawns now,but when he was small he ate anything that would fit in his mouth bloodworms, river shrimp whatever

alright! well I live in canada... any idea where I could get LIVE river shrimp?? Also... my clownknife doesn't seem to be too interested in live food like rosys... he loves sinking pellets though... is that odd or is it just me?

 I just remembered to feed my fish some frozen food and my clownknife ate out of my hand :D :p

I think the clown knife is your "centerpiece" since you're keeping him. :fun:

lol... guess I could consider him to be the centre piece :D anyways.. still want to know which 1 Angles or Rams? or just forget them and add something like a school of 10 black skirt tetras...?

so you allready have the clown knife
i wouldnt waste my money on tetra they will end up as food for the the knife
how big is it anyway?

He's about 1.5-2" just a little buddy right now ;) so black skirts will be food eventually? hmmm... I might get them anyways and if/when I get sick of them... I just won't remove them from the tank  nahhh that's mean I don't think I'll get them lol

Why ask our opinions when the fish is already in there?? What else is in the tank? Is it fully cycled now? I wouldn't add anything much more expensive then a few danios as they will eventually become CK food!! But, what all is in there now??
I think you could make a really cool tank if you got rid of the CK. What happens when he becomes to big? Do you get rid of him? Sell him? Come up with a large sum of money for an extra large tank??
Look at Canes amazing tank - that thing must've cost an arm and a leg!!!
