It was hard going i answered all their questions the best i could

Anyway at the end i asked what the job entails and they said it was in the job description they sent which i hadn't received,anyway i got one now,but looking through it i could have been prepared more for the interview if i had it beforehand based on the questions they asked!

They gave me a CRB to fill in,but i won't know until next week whether i've got the job or not.

I don't think personally i will get it,they interview alot of candidates for it.

dont get discouraged if you dont get the job...think of it as a "practice" interview for the future. it is always so nerve wracking going into an imterview, especially if youve only had a few (or none) in your lifetime. so live and learn...but good luck in the meantime

Just off the record.... are the standard questions still in the line of.... "where do you see yourself in 10 year's time"...... "give us 5 reasons why we should choose you above the other 10 candidates who applied" etc. etc.......??

Nah they were questions like

What is person centred care and what does it mean...

On promoting independance and choice,how would you encourage this is clients with dementia..

What does supervision mean and what does it entail,describe positive outcomes from supervisions and aides to promote this more for staff to achieve a better performance...

What would you do if you suspect a client is being abused...

The home has budgets what does this mean...

How would you handle people who diverty,equality and prejudices differ from your own....

Thats some of the i remember...

It was the budget one that threw me,not use to dealing with home's budget
