I would reduce feeding to once a day,as far as algae I would not worry about it until we get you tank cycled. If it is on the hood, I just wipe it off.

I have no idea what has been written after the first post but the yellow fish in the picture appears to have a bacterial infection on the caudal peduncle area (red patch before tail).

Looked that up and that definitely looks like it ...petsmart had just got there shipment that day I got him so idk if that had something do with it....so far havent lost anymore ...doing what was told to help
