Hi, im wondering how to remove glass paint from my aquarium. Tried scrapping but it wont come off.

Ummm, i think ill just leave it as it is untill i move the tank.

glass paint? Oil/Solvent based? If it was emulsion, warm water would do the trick!

Im not too sure what it is exactly. When i bought the tank it was on the back. I scrapes off but its touch doing it.

TBH I wouldn't risk it and would use a paint scraper such as you would use to remove paint from windows. These normally have a stanley blade or similar mounted in them. Yes, it's tough but it's safer than going near the tank with nitromors or white spirit!

I think this is going to be the best way to do it! Ill have to wait till i move the tank though. Thanks everyone for the input! :good:
