Glass cleaning

I believe those are a variety of nerite snails. They will eat stuff off the glass for sure! I have a little Olive Nerite, it crawls around sucking on the glass alllll day long

Cool, that's what I'm after.
They don't breed like crazy right?

Nerite snails are actually unable to breed in freshwater, so no babies from them!

Ohhhh ok. One of those may work, as long as it wasn't rough enough to scratch the glass

Yea I've seen some nice ones, do like the horned ones though. Also those Aztec looking orange,black type. Hard to find them.

I use a razor on the end of a stick, cheap one from amazon. I used the magnetic glass cleaner but they tend to chatter on the glass and that really stresses the Ornate tetras, they go pale and hide for a couple of days. I don't clean the back glass, I leave that for the BN pleco. My I am OK with some algae in the corners.

I don't mind leaving some on the curves, snails will sort that out.

I just use a sponge. (The type for dishes)

The “scrubby” side is rough, so it can get that nasty algae off of the glass.

A razor blade seems like overkill IMO. Most algae will come off easy with a few scrubs.

They definitely do that... super annoying
