1st of all, tank info:
70 UK Gallon
Stone substrate
pH - 7.5
NO2 - Non existant
NO3 - 10 at the most, even then thats being generous as its virtually non existant again
Ammonia - 0
Anyway, the other day we bought 3 of these little guys, done the usual introducing of then fish etc.
The next day we noticed the larger of the 3 were black around the edges, the day after he was dead.
A fortnight later, another starts turning black around the edges, the next day he was dead.
So now we only have 1 left....I would like to add more for him as he is probably lonely now, but before I do, I was to see if maybe I made an error, or not given him the right food etc
Anyone got any ideas if there is anything special your meant to do with these please? I really dont want to spend out for more, to kill them by accident again
cheers
edit: I just thought, could it be that the white spot I was treating in the tank could of done this? As I started my treatment not long after getting them as thats when I noticed my loaches had the problem
