Glass Cat swimming in circles

getting rid of fish, take them to lfs and see if they will take them , aks them before u get the fish out of the tank thou

yes as cryosi says ask the lfs, i took in 2 rosy barbs last week, and the guy gave me 2 plants, but even if he had'nt its better than having to destoy
healthy fish, theres a lot of different views on putting them to sleep,
luckly i have'nt had to do that,

Oh god, I couldn't bring myself to ever put a healthy fish down. But I had a tetra once that had hole in the head disease (this was in the very beginning when I was just learning) and I had to put him down in the manner I mentioned.

It was brief, I'll say that. And I was certain I had to to do it because he could no longer close his jaw to eat, and the alternative was starving to death.

I just heard never, ever flush them in the toilet. They can live there for a while.

no thats acruel way, i have'nt heard of the method you used before ?

Update:

Glass cat is still spinning. His black spot is gone and he looks okay again. Got him another friend, making a total of 3 of them. I also got rid of the (here's what it was) a nearly 3 inch long rainbow shark. I found a fish store who takes "used" fish. Not many do, I have to tell you.

I don't know what to do about the spinner. I know I should get more glass cats to make a school, but I don't want to crowd the 6 gal (these are rather large glass cats) and I also bought an algae eater. We have about 4 inches of fish in there right now.

Read my betta emergency. After several months of no problems, my fish are going nuts on me.
