Glass Anemone/aiptasia

quick question.. i counted about 60 glass anemones/aiptasia/ how many of these will actually survive or grow into full size ones.. and how big do get they full size ? i dont want to get rid of them as i found out there harmless just spread like hell... wich is fine with me. just dont know alot about them and what they even look like fully grown

They can actually pack a mighty sting. All of those babies are likely to survive, and they grow up into something resembling, well... search it up on google images. I personally like them, but others see a distinct priority in killing them.

I have two that I just discovered. Still dunno if I should kill them or not.

yes but they cant sting corals or fish can they ? i read they can sting humans but didnt mention anything else. the only ones i seen on google are really small.. like the size of a coin or something. i have one on a piece of live rock wich is smaller than a 5p coin.. hasnt grown at all in like 4 months. now i have loads of babies lol. i think i will keep them for a while yet and see if they actually are aiptasia or not but they sure look like it

Aiptasia

What do you plan on keeping in the tank as personally I dont like them and would get rid of them but it is your tank so it is up to you! They can easily take over your entire tank and do pack a massive sting which can stress/harm and sometimes even kill any over corals that touch the aiptasia!

I have heard of many people just keeping aiptasia in a tank as they find them quite fascinating!
